- (1853–1928)Missionary.Trotter was born in London and she was a talented artist. However, she was converted to evangelical Christianity by the mission of Hanna smith and her husband, and she sailed as a missionary to Algeria in 1888. She was the founder of the Algiers Mission Board, later incorporated into the North Africa Mission, and she was the author of an Algerian translation of the New Testament.
